What is the Good Life Retreat?
It is a mini-retreat designed to help people encounter Jesus Christ in a new and life-changing way.
What are the elements of The Good Life?
Engaging multi-media presentations on how Jesus fulfills the deepest desires of the human heart and how one can enjoy a close relationship with Him. Topics include the ministry, death, and resurrection of Jesus; the meaning of faith; the nature of the Church; the role of the Holy Spirit; the purpose of the Sacraments; prayer and study; generosity and sharing the faith.
Testimonies from retreat team members providing powerful real-life examples of the talk topics.
Small group discussions allowing participants to ask questions and reflect together.
Eucharistic adoration, praising God in song, and receiving prayer.
A tasty lunch and free books/CDs on the Catholic faith.
When is it?
The next retreat starts on Friday, August 9th, 2019 at 6:45 pm. Participants go home to sleep and return Saturday, August 10th, from 8:30am - 4:30pm. REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED. ANOTHER RETREAT WILL BE COMING IN 2020, WITH THE DATE TBD.
Who should attend?
The Good Life is open to anyone 18 or over who has not attended one before. It is especially helpful for Catholics who have not experienced the life-changing power of the Gospel and for non-Catholics who are interested in learning more about the Catholic faith.
